New Player Arrives!

Thursday, may 19 2011 Real Madrid has already bought their third new player for the next season his name is: Hamlet Altintop. They have already bought Nuri Sahin, Daniel Callejon, Hamlet Altintop and they will probably buy Daniel Parejo. It's hard to understand the way the club has changed their policies since the arrival of Jose Mourinho as the D.T.  the greatest change has happened in the transfers market.

The first season of Florentino Perez as president the club invested about 250 million Euros in to bring in 7  new players. The second season of Florentino as president but the first one with Mou as coach Real Madrid brought in 4 new players in june and one more in january for a cost off about 70 million Euros the difference between one season and the other is very big, this was the beginning of a new policy of reinforcements. For the season that is to come up they have already bought three for the price of only 13 million Euros which for Real Madrid finances is a record of cheapness.

Hamlet Altintop the last one to come into the team will enter without Real Madrid having to pay for him since his contract with Bayer Munich finished this season. What gives him the right to leave to which ever club offers to him and he wants to play for.

Having this said Mou has changed the most criticized but also awesome part of Real Madrid which was their transfers season that would normally bring the best players in their position to the club for incredible amounts of money, this has changed!

Feature Article

                                                                 Soccer Was Her Life

It’s a soccer phenomenon! All soccer coaches agree on that! She has been playing since she was 10 years old; but has been doing many other sports since she was born. Probably the most important ones for what she is today were gymnastics and ballet, since both of them gave her agility, coordination and strength, vital characteristics for a soccer defense. Anyways she has also practiced many other sports such as: Horse Back riding, Vaulting, Water ski, Swimming, and Tennis.

She is Colombian and was born on April 20, 1995 at Clinic del Country, located in the city of Bogotá. At the time, she was blonde, fat, cute, with brown eyes and of white color, like the powder on a fresh muffin; people who saw her for just a moment thought she was a doll. Her first years where incredible everything was extraordinary in her life, but as she grew up she encountered one problem, her brothers health.  It would only be during certain stage of her life, but it would be one fall after another. When she was really small during the first four years of her life. Juan her brother faced several surgeries, but of course she wouldn’t notice this, nor care about it. As time passed she got older and things where OK but at the age of 10 her brother again had several surgeries. These where spread during a period of five years, which where really hard for her since she suffered a lot for her brother knowing she couldn’t do anything at all.

That stage of her life was marked by these incidents of close family members had faced.  It was extremely hard since during two consecutive birthdays her brother had surgery on her birthday finally her brother again got stable and needed no more surgeries, which was an excellent thing for her since she suffered so much for this reason. Even though this was extremely hard for her, it helped her a lot since she learned how to appreciate things most people take for granted such as health, love and solidarity. In addition she became a better person and began to be able to help others with their problems since she was inside the small group of people that had faced problems before, and could understand how others felt.

Since the moment she entered the soccer team the coach was fascinated by the way she played. She had an enormous facility and was an excellent leader, which made her better for the position she plays. She entered the team on sixth grade and was trained by Prof who made her be in the initial 11 without giving importance to the fact that she was the youngest among all the players which at that age isn’t normal. The team of that year came to be second place after loosing the final by a score of two to one, it is a fact to highlight that Cristina had to be taken out of the game because of an injury and after she came out the other team scored the two goals.  That was her first year in the soccer team.

Her second year in the world of soccer at a school level would be decisive for her. This was due to the fact that ¨ Prof ¨ decided to place her as a central defense the position she would be occupying for a long period of time. Here she would demonstrate her abilities, and the fact that she was excellent since she was: fast, agile, strong, and careful when she had to deal as the last girl of the team, because if she commits fault it is a red card for sure. That year they would end up in fourth place of the Uncoli Tournament, but would be Champions of the Peoples Play tournament being the team who had the least goals scored against, as well as winning the prize as best defense player of the tournament.

Cristiano Is Capable!!

Cristiano Ronaldo the best payed player of the world, has demonstrated throughout this season why this is so! He earns about one million Euros per month that the club pays him plus everything he gains throughout marketing. On the transfer season 2009-2010 Florentino Perez payed 96 million Euros to Manchester United for his transfer to become a Real Madrid player.

This season he has scored until now 38 goals on the league competition which makes him tie with Hugo Sanchez and Zarra as the greatest forwards of all times. But there is more to come since Real Madrid team still has to face Levante in their last match for the league tittle which unfurtunetly F.C. Barcelona has won.

Ronaldo has scored more than one third of the goals Real Madrid has scored in this season since the team has scored 93 and he alone has scored 38. Of course this would not be possible i he did not have all the teammates he has. Which have helped him score this incredible amount of goals in only one season which also permits him win the personal duel he had against Leonel Messi for this particular trophy as well as it also makes Real Madrid be the team that has scored the most goals in the current league!

Last but not least on the las 3 matches Cristiano has scored 9 goals, this leaves him with an average of 1.10 goals per match which is definitely incredible for a player, and he still has one match to become the greatest scorer of the league in all its history which would make this season be remembered by all Real Madrid fans because of him!

Cristiano is Capable!

This season will be very speacial for Cristiano Ronaldo since he scored two goals against Barcelona, to which he hadnt been able to score in more than five matches they had faced each other.  Also thanks to Cristianos goal on the kings cup final and on the league tittle Real Madrid was able to win one throphy this season and to win confidence for the next year.

This two facts are much more important than what we think they are. When you go back and analize the importance of the goal which permited Real Madrid tie the match on Santiago Bernabeu, and afterwards win the kings cup. It comes to big dimensions since Real Madrid came from loosing five consecutive matches against Barcelona and two of them with humilliation included. This two matches gave them the moral support they needed to believe they could win against Barcelona.

By other side Cristiano has done an incredible season having scored 51 goals along all the competitions, he has participated in with  Real Madrid which gives him the possibility of getting a better record than the one Puskas had since many years ago. Also in the league he is only two goals from reaching the record of thirty eight goals scored by Hugo Sanchez in the season 56-57 and the by zarra in the eighties. He has two matches more to accomplish another record and enter Real Madrid history in this way.

Will he be capable or will the obsesion overwhelm him? I think he will be capable and most of all because his teammates are willing to help him at all cost to accomplish his one will. We will see how everything goes in the two matches that are left, we have to take into account that he has scored on five different matches three goals each and on two occasions he has scored four goals.

Next season, will it be?

Since the beginning of february of this year we Real Madrid fans knew the league tittle would be almost impossible to conquer, since F.C. Barcelona was eight points ahead with the same number of matches and had also one the first match by an enormous difference of five to zero.  The only hope that Real Madrid fans had was that the match between the two was missing this meant that if Real won the match they end up at a difference of five points which was possible to  recuperate.

Anyways Real Madrid was not able to win their match which meant it would be impossible to conquer the league tittle this year. Today F.C. Barcelona tied against Levante to conquer the league tittle definitively. This year Real Madrid did a much better campaign than the one they did lat year. The differences where big since last year they where eliminated from the kings cup in the early stages, instead this year they won it and the final was against F.C. Barcelona and they won that match. It had been three complete years since the last victory of Real Madrid against Barcelona. Also Real Madrid got to Semi Finals in the CHampions league, they didn´t come to this stage since 2005 six years ago.

With ¨ mou ¨ as coach thing in real madrid have changed a lot they already bought Nuri Sahim a German Turquish, for only ten million Euros which is not common in Real Madrid since they are acostummed to buy the most expensive players in all the market. Before mourinho got to Real Madrid in only one transfer market they used about three hundred million Euros in new players instead last season with ¨mou they only used 90 millions.

What Next?

During the four matches Real Madrid and Barcelona played against themselves many players came out to insult each other. It was a heavily discordial period of three weeks, fighting against each other and giving out their opinions about the referee's and all the conditions that sorrounded this matches. Now it has all ended, there where two ties and one win for each team; some say it is fair some others say the most important matches for the Champions were greatly influenced by the referees decisions, which they also argument were unfair.

Jose Mourinho's team was the one affected by the unfair decisions, more important and clear in the second match, where they didnt count a legal goal scored by Gonzalo HIguain. Also he had been affected on the first match where Pepe was expulsed because of his intensions mixed with an excelent theatre performance by Daniel Alves. After this " Mou " was also expulsed and had to go to the stands.

After this match " mou " atacked the referees at the press conference, where his declarations against the EUFA can cause him up to 6 matches on suspension. We are all waighting for the final results of this match since we really want to know what will happen with our teams coach.

By last it seems pretty sure that Mourinho will stay for next season at Real Madrid. He is already asking for two or three knew players that should arrive at the begging of july. Next season will be even harder since Real MAdrid is expected to grow more the same as F.C. BArcelona, without any doubt we will se excelent matches the next season and see again many encounterments between theese two which, cause the greates impact in the world of soccer.

Was it Fair?

Was it fair? That´s the question that everybody in the world of soccer is trying to answer as objective, as they can. During the last week more specifically on wednesday of last, and tuesday of this one; we saw two excellent soccer matches between Real Madrid and F.C. Barcelona where the only shade they had was the referee. Who on the first match, showed the red card to Real Madrid soccer player Pepe who left the field at the middle of the second half when the score was zero to zero and saw from outside how Barcelona scored two goals. On the second match played yesterday it was the second minute of the second half and Gonzalo Higuain scored a goal that the referee didn´t count. Why did this happen?

Every single soccer fan, and analyst agree on two main points about this debate. The first one is that Barcelona was superior to Real Madrid, but also that the referee mostly in the second match favored Barcelona by not counting Higuain´s goal at the beginning of the second half.

All this week that debate will be going on but who has the answer to this? Nor soccer nor life is fair not always the best wins, and in soccer there is a phrase that says: ¨ El que no los hace, los ve hacer ¨.
(This means the team that doesn´t score, watch´s how the other team scores on them.)

People say the match would have been very different with Real Madrid winning the match 2-1 when it was minute 63 since they would have had 30 minutes to score one goal that would directly eliminate F.C. Barcelona and that would have given them a lot of Moral support and adrenaline which could have been the decisive factor of this match.

Nobody has the answer to this question every soccer fan thinks of but as every body knows life is not fair at all and one day you are the one who benefits from injustice, and the next day you are affected in a negative way by the same unfairness.

INTERVIEW

Juan Chamás
12/04/2011
Journalism/Literature

J.C.  I wanted to know how things that have happened to me, such as surgeries, have affected you.
C.C.    Well they have affected me in many ways, but I think it has been a good experience to be able to live this, because it has helped me to learn a lot of things, as well as to become a better person.
J.C.  How do you think this can help you. What positive things do you see in all this different obstacles that we have had to face.
C.C.   I think this has made my family united, it has made me be strong, anyways I have suffered a lot during the surgeries, but this has made us come together in order to be able to help my brother get better and overcome everything with our support.
J.C.  Also I wanted to know what has been the worst part of all this, in what has to deal with the health of your brother.
C.C.  Well I cant´ say it has been easy, and I think the worst part has been on two consecutive birthdays, when I was in sixth and seventh grade. When my brother had to go to the hospital because of extreme headaches. In the same day of my Birthdays.
J.C.   I heard he also swallowed a tiny cup of a pen can you tell us about that?
C.C.  Well at first my parents wouldn’t tell me because I was so small that they were scared on how I might take these kinds of things. I still remember I was on my grand mothers house and I picked up the phone and heard that he was at the hospital due to the cup since it went to his lungs, at first a was very scared but then I calmed down since I heard his life was not at risk since the cup even though it was on his lungs, was not obstructing his breathing.
J.C.   Finally one of the last things came that was when I almost cut my three fingers off, do you remember anything about this.
C.C.  Of course well that was no actually a big impact on me since I was not living in Colombia, I was living in Chicago but steel I was really well thinking and suffering, but got calmed when the doctors said everything was going to be O.k. and that his fingers would be able to work perfectly, in the future.
J.C.   At last what did you feel when you saw Oreo the dog biting his finger the one that was affected.
C.C.   Well at first I got scared but then I Couldn’t stop laughing since it wasn’t a great deal cause you had that thing which protected your finger.
J.C. Cristina I became aware you injured your knee again can you tell me a
       Little about this?
C.C.  Well its been really hard for me since it will be a repetition of the injury I suffered in September, two years ago which made me leave soccer out of my life for about one year and six months. I t was really hard for me since soccer is probable the most important activity I do.
J.C.   Can you tell me what happened in that moment? How did you injure it?
C.C.  It was quite sad. I was at Binationals and was the only ninth grader of the whole tam. In the final I was the goalie during the first half of the game, when it was over I changed places with Alejandra Moncaleano. Like 20 minutes after I started I felt my knee crack, fell down and couldn’t run again.
J.C. Cristina how was your recuperation last time?
C.C. I had to do about 3ight months of physical therapy to strengthen my knee which by miracle had pasted again in a natural way after that I  had to do lots of exercise that didn’t have impact involved such as swimming, and elliptic or bike. After all this long period of time I eventually came back to playing soccer.
J.C. What happen now was it in some way different than last time?
C.C. the injury happened in the same way,  I was playing soccer and suddenly my knee cracked. I went to my doctor and he said this time it would be very difficult for the knee to recuperate in a natural way and that the most probable thing was that I would need surgery for it to cure.
J.C. What does this mean?
C.C. This means that It would take much more time to heal, since I would need surgery and for it to be possible we would have to wait for me to stop growing or else we would take the risk, that would involve one of my legs being larger that the other one for life.
J.C.  Can you do any kinds of sports meanwhile? How much time will it take to heal?
C.C. Well according to the best estimates, I would have to wait approximately 2 yeas dealing with while I stop growing and after the surgery,. It will be very hard since I can only do very few sports that don’t involve hard contact which are, swimming, biking, and elliptic.
J.C. How do you feel about all this?
C.C. Honestly at this moment I am really sad and overwhelmed since I already passed through this and I now its very hard, and this time it will be even worse. In this moment I feel overwhelmed by this since soccer is the most important activity I practice.
J.C. Along this period of time, with this knew injury who have been the most important people for you?
C.C. Well its hard to say or to decide who has been more important in each case since some know me better than others.
J.C. Do your best to try and talk to me about it.
C.C. Well the one who has been able to help me the most has been my brother, since he has been through similar experiences so he understands my pain, and is always there for me. After him come my two closest friends which are veronica and Michel even though they don´t understand me they are always there for me. And last but not least the soccer team girls, who have always been there for me
And understand me.
